Please walk a mile for my elderly parents who always loved the outdoors and can't manage it anymore due to health concerns. I will turn off my classroom electronics for 1 hour to help sustain the Mother Earth. I will volunteer an extra day this month at a nursing home with my therapy dog.

Please walk a mile to my mom, dad, grandma and Nick because they are people I love and they are going through problems. I tried my best to help but I could not find the courage to ask.

This mile is dedicated to our dear father, grandfather and friend Bob Tobin (aka Big Guy) who we all love and miss. He was a truly kind and giving man who loved the outdoors, a perfect match with your mission. May his love, laughter and spirit that still lives on guide you and Jessie on your hike just as it has continued to guide his family.

This might a bit long, but I would like to dedicate this mile to my grandfathers, Janek and Ryszard. Grandpa Janek died before I ever got to meet him, but either way he is a strong influence and inspiration in my life. I love him so much and pray for him every day. Grandpa Adam died back in '08. Even though I only saw him twice in my life, I spoke to him almost every day and miss him very much. Also, another person I'd like to dedicate this to is my uncle, Marek. He too died before I had a chance to meet him, but stories I've been told of how he was have inspired me in the person I want to be and my career direction. I think that I inherited so much from him and I want to go in that direction as a constant tribute to him in my life.
