To my mother who has been gone for over 23 years and my father who passed away three years ago. On the jewish new year I light candles in their memory and spend a day fasting in their memory. This year I will also take a "grateful walk" recalling their love and being grateful for the time we had together

I want to dedicate one mile to my great grandma Lee Toskas. She's in a nursing home and isn't really seeing the reasons to keep on living.

Please walk a mile for my Aunt Kerri. She is struggling with Leukemia. I will be more aware of my actions (say thank you, hold the door for people). I will also donate money to a good cause.

I would like to dedicate a mile to my Mom, Dad and Peggy my sister...all of whom have passed away. They were all very important people in my life and I miss them very much. They were all animal lovers! In return I will work on helping Hi-Tor Animal shelter to find homes for their shelter pets and to continue to donate food and items whenever possible.

I'm dedicating this to my best friend Dylan. Sometimes I blame God for the hard times in my life, but I'm so thankful that he sent Dylan my way. He knows everything about me and still thinks I'm great. There's not a thing in the world that I couldn't tell him. I have never had a friend better than him. His friendship means the world to me. I'm so thankful that he is my best friend and I'm dedicating this to him because he is the best person I know.

I dedicate this mile to my grandfather, Fidel Reyes. He was a strong figure in our family, caring, and very selfless. He worked hard for my mother and her six siblings in the Philippines so that they could all be where they are today. He died at age 91 due to liver cancer and old age. I only hope to live a long and fruitful life the way he did with humility and respect for the beautiful world that we live in. His spirit will live on always through his children and grandchildren.

I just recently lost my dad and my mom before him. Both were from a far better generation of people. They understood what it meant to "do unto others" and instilled that lesson in my soul very early on. At Christmas time, my mom asked me to wrap my gently used toys for the poor as gifts. At first, it was hard to give up the things I loved but as the years passed, it was something that I looked forward to. Just seeing the happy faces of the children that were now going to be enjoying my toys was such a thrill for me. It also taught me to cherish the things I had and to appreciate sharing with others. As my mom's health declined and her mind and memory taken from her, she never stopped smiling, even to strangers, always willing to share the joy that still gently rested inside her.

For Katie Koebel - my best friend's sister who died at age 13 of stomach cancer. I will participate in a Make-a-Wish Fundraiser.

My dedication is for my grandfather, he died and was sick from cancer.

I dedicate this to my mother, father and Autistic little brother, and also my Mema. I will help them with everything for a long time. I will do dishes, wash the floor, take the dogs for a walk and feed them. I will call my Mema all the time and help my brother with his spelling words.
